Samba, Oct 13: Red Ribbon Club of Govt. Degree College Ramgarh in Collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society organized a series of programmes under 2nd phase of Implementation of New India @75 campaign under ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ w.e.f 12-10-2021 to 20-10-2021. The events were organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, Principal of the College. On 12 October 2021, GDC Ramgarh participated in the launch event of 2nd phase of New India @75 under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav. The Awareness Campaign was launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) Govt. of India and National AIDS Control Organization (NACO). Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, Minister of State, Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India was Chief Guest. On 13 October 2021, An Awareness Programme on HIV was initiated by the College. The Resource Person was Dr. Radhu (B.A.M.S), presently posted in HWC Rarian. She delivered a lecture on HIV awareness and made the students aware about the prevention and care of the disease.
The Resource person for the second session was Dr. Hari Slathia, HWC Swankha. She in her lecture promoted access to a set of effective HIV prevention and care interventions. |
