Day long mega legal awareness- cum- exhibition camp held

RAMBAN, Oct 21: A day long mega legal awareness programme- cum- exhibition was today held here under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.
The programme was organized by District Legal Services Authority, Ramban under the guidance of Chairman DLSA (Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge) , Haq Nawaz Zargar in collaboration with District Administration and presided over by the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court , Surinder Singh.
During the camp, the officers including Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Dhrindra Sharma, CAO, Farooq Ahmed, CAHO, Bharat Bhushan, DSHO, Vikas Gupta, DSWO Waheed–ur-Rehman, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Angrez Singh, Assistant Director Employment Naresh Kumar highlighted the main features of beneficiary oriented schemes of their respective sectors.
After inspecting the stalls established by the different departments like FCS&CA, Labour, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal and Husbandry, the Additional District and Sessions Judge impressed upon the officers to provide hassle-free services to public and facilitate deserving beneficiaries to avail the benefits of schemes.
Appreciating the launch of various youth oriented schemes like MUMKIN, Tejeswani, E-Shram, and the schemes of Agriculture and allied departments, Additional District and Sessions Judge, he informed that District Legal Services Authority is organizing legal service programmes under PAN India Awareness and Outreach Programme to provide legal-aid to people in the district.
The Additional District Session Judge said that the aim of organizing the legal services camps in the district is to make general masses aware about their entitlements under the law and apprise them about the availability of free legal services, besides to connect them to several welfare schemes launched by Union and Union Territory governments.
