AYUSH organises Capacity Building Programme for Yoga instructors, staff

RAMBAN, Oct 21: The AYUSH Department Ramban today organized a day-long capacity building programme “Continuing Medical Education (CME)” for Yoga instructors & therapists and ISM staff.
District Nodal Officer AYUSH, Dr Sanjay Chadha presided over the function.
The CME Programme was coordinated by the District YOGA Coordinator Dr. Masood Iqbal Zargar. The theme of the programme was “importance of YOGA in stress management with “Health, Harmony and Happiness for all” through Yoga as its slogan.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Masood said that CME would provide a platform to re-energize & re-charge neurons & revitalize academic knowledge of the participants. It is a pre-session of activities going to be held at Iconic Week festival at Patnitop on October 28, he added.
He said that the department is keen to develop human resources for Planning, Training, Promotion and Coordination of Yoga Education, Therapy and Research in all its aspects. He said only Yoga can help people to recover from the disorders developed due to sudden change in life style and increase in diseases and mental stress.
