| GDC Dudu BasantGarh organizes cleanliness drive | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Oct 21: Government Degree College Dudu BasantGarh organized cleanliness drive in the College campus in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra District Udhampur in connection with celebration of iconic week festivals. Students of the college showed enthusiasm to participate in the cleanliness drive of surroundings of the college and collect the plastic waste for recycling it for reuse. Drive was organised by Organizing Secretary Prof. Rahul Sharma with the help of volunteer Nehru Yuva Kendra of block Basantgarh Mr. Naresh lalhal. This campaign was held to inculcate the value of cleanliness among the students and also motivate them to maintain hygiene in `the campus and surroundings. On the occasion Principal of the college Dr. Bhavnaish Chand appreciated the efforts of the volunteer Nehru Yuva Kendra and the students of the colleges for participating in the drive. He said that by adopting cleanliness in the College and its surroundings we can contribute to build a healthier Nation. If we take care of our environment, we can overcome all health issues. |
