| Women Club Meri Pehchaan pays tribute to Vikram Batra | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 21: On the occasion of National Police Day, Sandhya Gupta Chairman Women Club Meri Pehchaan paid tribute to Param Veer Chakra(PVC) Shaheed Captain Vikram Batra by felicitating his parents with Maharaja Hari Singh Dogra Samaan Award.
After felicitating and paying tribute to the (PVC) Shaheed Captain Vikram Batra, Chairman Sandhya Gupta said that today we are paying tribute to the Param Veer Chakra awardee Shaheed Captain Vikram Batra by felicitating his parents for the great bravery and sacrifice he made during the Operation Vijay in 1999.
She further said that we also organised “Veer Yatra” in which they visited the houses of brave sons and daughters of the soil who got martyred in the line of duty and felicitated the parents of the martyed police officials.
