GPGCW Gandhi Nagar organises workshop on ‘General Financial Rules’ for non-teaching staff

JAMMU, Oct 21: Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Government PG College for Women, Gandhi Nagar today organised a one day Workshop on “General Financial Rules” for non-teaching staff of the college.
The programme was organized under the patronage of principal of the College, Dr. Sangita Nagari.
In her address, she emphasized that this programme will help the Non -teaching staff to learn technical issues concerning financial rules.
The organising committee consisted of Dr. Suresh Bhat (Convenor), Dr. Anuradha Gandotra (Co-Convenor), Prof. Nidhi Suri, Prof. Mamta Kundal and Prof. Ambica Kumari .
Lochan Dass, (Retd) Director Accounts & Treasuries JK was the Resource person of the event.
Having a vast experience and knowledge in the subject, he shared the same with the participants in a very easy and lucid manner. The Resource Person enlightened the audience on various financial rules pertaining to Budgets, maintenance of bills, drawl registers, cashbooks, service books, leave accounts of the employees and other related issues, which will prove beneficial for them in their future assignments. The event was conducted at Edusat Hub with the support of Hub Er. Harneet Singh.
Prof. Ambica Kumari moderated the programme and Prof. Mamta Kundal presented a Vote of thanks.
