Kshatriya Sansad demands renaming of Jammu Airport JU after Maharaja Gulab Singh

Jammu, Oct 21: Kshatriya Sansad celebrated 229th Birthday of Maharaja Gulab Singh ji on\ 21/10 by garlanding the statute already installed in the premises of SMGS hospital Shalamar Jammu in the presence of Dr Dara Singh Medical Supdt SMGS hospital, good of prominent citizens gathered here to remember the founder Maharaja of Dogra Dynasty, while talking to the media persons Mr. M S Katoch said that aharaja Sahab was visionary personality who united entire Jammu and Kashmir and during his tenure the boundaries were expanded to many countries, the state founded by Maharaja sahab in 1846 after execution of Amritsar Treaty signed on 16 March 1846 was biggest Princely managed state during British rule with an area of 222326 sq km was handed over to the India by Maharaja Hari Singh Ji in 1947 after signing instrument of accession, but due to bad international policies of the successive governments the entire piece of land could not be protected and today half of the area is under illegal occupancy of China and Pakistan, we the members of the Kshtriya Sansad strongly demand government to retrieve the illegally captured area from the clutches of enemies at any cost, as our ancestors have sacrificed their lives to make it the part of Jammu and Kashmir, Kshatriya Sansad also demands that the Jammu airport as well as university of Jammu be named after Maharaj Gulab Singh Ji and also include Dogra History in the syllabus immediately. Finally sweets and fruit was distributed among the public present there, persons present were Vidhi Singh Jamwal, Brigadier Uttam Singh ji, Vinay Jamwal ji, Th G S Thakur, Sh Pawan Chib, Resham Singh ji.
