Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 21: The residents of Gali Ghass Mandi school talab khatikan have approached Gurmeet Singh President that the school building is in a very deplorable condition for the last 3 years and it is seen that the school building can be collapsed at any time and any mishappen may occur at any time and there is a danger of life of the residents residing nearby which required immediate reconstruction of the school building
It observed by Gurmeet Singh President Beopar Mandal & Distt General Secretary Congress that BJP Govt is not interested to repair / reconstruction of government school which is surprising. If any mishappen takes place it will be responsibility of the BJP Govt. and the education authorities.
There are BJP 27 MLA and 2 member Parliament are in the BJP Govt that are only using the government money for their own enjoyment.
They are not interested for reconstruction / renovation of the school buildings but they are renovating their own houses just like 5 Star hotels and using the Govt. money for their own. Approximately 70 to 90% schools are owned by BJP leaders and their relatives as such they are not interested to reconstruct/renovation of the private schools. The parents as such compelled to admit their children in the private schools.
Gurmeet Singh President Beopar Mandal & Distt General Secretary Congress stressed the LG to issue instructions to the concerned departments to look into the matter in the interest of education of the children and to save the lives of the residents residing nearby.
Moreover, the education authorities have not waive off their Private school fees for the last 3 years and parents are compelled to pay tution fees which is still going on and even some private schools have taken annual charges which was not at all applicable during the present time which is very sad of affairs going on in the private schools.
It is stressed that the action may kindly be taken against the private schools who have taken annual charges without the permission of the education authorities for the present Govt. Gurmeet Singh President stressed that appropriate action be taken against the schools and refund the annual charges as well as tution fees to the parents so that they may feel some relief of sigh. It is hoped that favourable action to get the refund to the parents of the children.
