Addressing a gathering at Bharat Mata Mandir, Trikuta Nagar Extension, Kavinder Gupta said that it is a proud moment for every Indian that the country has achieved such a great feat in just a short span of nine months. The senior BJP leader extended heartfelt wishes to researchers, doctors and health workers for their synergetic efforts and commitment as the country reached the 100 crore COVID vaccinations mark. Kavinder also appreciated the BJP workers and supporters for removing vaccine hesitancy from the minds of many especially in J&K as people earlier showed reluctance in administering vaccine jabs. He said that today is the day to express gratitude to the doctors and Para-medic staff which accomplished the impossible in record time without allowing their personal problems to become a hurdle in achieving this feat.
Kavinder later visited PHC Digiana and other healthcare centres in Gandhi Nagar Constituency and felicitated doctors and other medical staff. He said that the contribution of the medical staff in containing coronavirus and carrying out inoculation programmes is incredible and the nation owes much to them.
