Political parties not to play politics of hate: Tony

EArly Times REport

RS PURA, OCT 22: DDC Member Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony along with former MLC, Vikram Randhawa today unveiled the statue of Shaheed Gurnam Singh at Rathana Morh, RS Pura.
Pertinent to mention here that Shaheed Gurnam Singh, son of Kulbir Singh, attained Martyrdom during unprovoked firing by Pak on 21st October, 2016.
Citing the address of ADGP Mukesh Singh on the Police Day, DDC member TS Tony said that the officer had rightly elaborated that martyrs lay their lives for the sake of nation as a whole and not for their clan, community or religion and therefore parties which are dividing society on communal lines are doing great disservice to the nation
Tony said it’s a great message to all social religious and political parties those who are hell bent upon dividing the society / country on communal lines by creating tensions between the Hindu-Muslim Hindu Chirstan or Hindu- Sikh.
Tony said that country had always paid a big price in 1947 and got our country divided in two countries and this politics of hate may benefit some political parties but the country will loose so all like-minded right thinking people and the people who really love India should reject in total the politics of communal hate.
Tony said that we all must look at the teachings of our respective religions which we believe and always taught us communal brotherhood and coexistence of different shades of people and the true tributes to these martyrs who laid down their lives for the country would be rejecting the communal politics and respecting the law of the land and its democratic values enshrined in the constitution none other than the Baba Sahib Dr BR Ambedkar.
The DDC member demanded that schools in the native villages of martyrs should be dedicated to these valiant soldiers by changing their names after these great son of the soils. He appealed to the political parties especially BJP not to play politics of hate rather they should focus on the agenda of two crore jobs, 5 Trillion economy, brining black money to the country, etc.
