| Citizens Forum urges LG to improve tourism infrastructure in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 22: Citizens Forum has requested LG Manoj Sinha not to waste money on holding iconic week festival by the Tourism department. The Forum has said that there are many important items required to be added to infrastructure for Jammu Tourism which nobody talks or suggests. The Forum has said that for last 40 years we have been witnessing Melas and Tourism shows in other states in the name of Jammu Tourism and nothing else. We have many times proposed to create a Hotel Management Institute and a separate institute for proper training of Waiters. Trained and educated waiters are the backbone of good service and are required in plenty by the hoteliers. Nobody bothers to ask the requirements of tourism of the area.
