18th national general training workshop to be held in Tamil Nadu from Oct 23

JAMMU, Oct 22: All India Silambam Federation is going to hold 18th National General Training Workshop at Karpadam University Coimbatore Tamil Nadu from October 23 to October 27. On the occasion, Udhay Bhanu Chib Youth Congress President (J&K) was the chief guest and Ranjot Singh was the guest of honour.
Coach Jai Gupta informed that Silambam Association, J&K, is affiliated with All India Silambam Federation which is recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Nine persons have been selected to take participate in this national level workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Chib said that importance of games and encourage youth of Jammu and Kashmir for their participation in the sports with zeal and enthusiasm so that they can be physically and mental fit. He extended best wishes and all possible support to the participating players in the national level workshop and hope that such more events and tournaments will be organized in near future.
The members of Silambam Association of J&K extended best wishes to all the participants and also provided sports kit to all the participating players. Shubam Sharma, Manager was also present on the occasion.
