Ramanujan Amrut Bharat Ganit Yatra concludes

REASI, Oct 22: The 3-day long Ramanujan Amrit Bharat Ganit Yatra-2021 concluded today at GGHSS Reasi.
The yatra was the initiative of All India Ramanujan Maths Club with the support of Raman Science and Technology Foundation, National Council of Teacher Scientists, National Children Academy and APJ Abdul Kalam National Council of Young Scientists under the Chairmanship of Dr Chandermauli Joshi and Dr Rajesh Thakur, a renowned Mathematician and National Secretary All India Ramanujan Maths Club that started from October 2 from Somnath Gujarat and reached Jammu and Kashmir on October 17.
In J&K the Ganit Yatra continued for 3 days. On October 18, Yatra was organized at GGHSS Shastri Nagar wherein HR Pakhroo, Joint Director School Education Jammu was the chief guest whereas SS Rathore, Chief Education Officer Jammu and Pawan Gupta, Asstt Prof SCERT Jammu, were the guests of honour. About 100 students from GHS Gandhi Nagar, BHSS Gandhi Nagar and GGHSS Shastri Nagar along with staff enjoyed a lot while learning fun in Mathematics and Science. Renowned experts of National repute Brajesh Dixit (Science expert from UP) and Mehul Kumar Harsora (Mathematics expert from Gujarat) interacted with the participants.
On the second day, the yatra reached at GGHSS Arnia where Hoshiyar Singh, Vice Principal DIET Jammu and Santosh Kumari, Principal GGHSS Arnia, witnessed the whole programme along with staff members and students of GGHSS Arnia and HSS Allah. About 70 students from both the schools were benefitted with the tricks/practical of Mathematics and Science.
On the third day yatra concluded at GGHSS Reasi where Mohd Aziz, CEO Reasi graced the occasion. About 150 students and 50 teachers attended the sessions of experts and valuable tricky methods of solving long sums by Dr Chandermouli Joshi.
