| SIF demands probe into corruption allegations leveled by ex-Guv | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 22: All J&K1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum (SIF) called an emergency meeting of its core committee members under the chairmanship of Adv Amrik Singh. Surjit Singh, Secretary of the Forum also joined the meeting.
At the outset of the meeting the Forum taken up the sensational issue of corruption revealed by the former Governor of J&K, Satyapal Malik, who is at present Governor of Meghalaya. Malik in a big rally at Jhunjhunu Rajasthan leveled serious allegations against former chief Ministers Farooq Abdullah; his son Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti related to Roshni Act along with two files out of which one was pertaining to Ambani Group and other was connected with one of the senior leaders of RSS. The Forum in unanimous has taken this issue very seriously and appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to constitute a inquiry commission in this regard and if possible the case may be handed over to CBI.
The Forum reacted that guilty persons must be punished according to the law so that the confidence of the J&K people may be restored otherwise it will damage the clean Image of BJP.
The Forum also thanked the former Governor Satyapal Malik for bringing out truth before the public domain and also proved his loyalty and honesty.
The meeting was also attended by Inder Singh Councillor, Paramjit Singh ex-Councillor, Kuldip Singh, Jagjit Singh, Nasib Singh, Prof KD Singh and others. |
