JAMMU, Nov 6: Saying Kudo helps younger generation in staying focused, fit and mentally agile, former MLA and BJP leader Devender Singh Rana today expressed happiness of growing participation of talented players in the sport.
"It is a life-long sport, system for youth education, method of self-defense and health maintenance for adults", Mr Rana said at the concluding function of the 3rd J&K UT level MMA Championship held at Mount Litera Zee School Bohri Jammu, organized by Kudo Association of Jammu and Kashmir, adding that along with these elements it stresses the "Reigi" or respect and etiquette in its tradition.
Devender Rana, who was the chief guest at the function, said that Kudo takes the player the level where they can achieve anything they want in life. This sport can be opted by anyone from any field, he said and appreciated Kudo Association of Jammu and Kashmir for taking all the responsibility on its shoulders to make J&K the finest place to learn and master the techniques of the sport.
