ADDC Kishtwar reviews ongoing developmental projects within Municipal limit

KISHTWAR, Nov 8: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal today convened a meeting of officers and counselors to review ongoing developmental projects of Municipal Council Kishtwar.
During the meeting threadbare discussion was held regarding the various ongoing projects/works approved under Mega projects, state capex, My Town My Pride, District plan, 14th FC Grants, and IDMT.
Executive Officer, Municipal Council Kishtwar briefed the chair about the progress of works taken under different schemes. The meeting also discussed the bottlenecks hindering the progress of these projects.
The ADDC impressed upon the concerned officers to gearup the field functionaries so that the approved projects are completed within a set timeline.
The Executive Engineer R&B Division Kishtwar was directed to tender the left out projects/ works within week’s time besides submit the weekly progress of these developmental projects to DC Kishtwar.
While discussing the issues hampering the progress of few projects, the ADDC directed the EO MC Kishtwar and Xen R&B to work in tandem to resolve the disputes of various developmental projects so that they are completed in time.
The Executive Officer Municipal Council Kishtwar was directed to follow-up and complete all projects of the Municipal Council Kishtwar within a time bound manner.
Meanwhile, Councillors also highlighted various grievances and demands of their respective wards.
After listening to their grievances, ADDC issued necessary direction to the concerned officers for resolution of these grievance in time bound manner.
The meeting was attended by Vice-President MC Kishtwar Sanjeet Kotwal, all Councillors, Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, AD FS&CA GN Lone, SE JPDCL Doda-Kishtwar Asgar Hussain, SE PWD Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban circle Nisar Ahmed Zargar, EO MC Kishtwar Tariq Balwan, XEns of PHE and PWD besides other concerned officers.
