District admin Reasi provides free travel passes to 25 girl students | | | Early Times Report REASI, Nov 11: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh took an initiative to provide free travel passes to 25 girl students of Government Higher Secondary School Mahore, who were pursuing their studies from far-off areas of Mahore Sub-Division. On this occasion, Charandeep Singh said that this initiative is to facilitate the students as concession in fare for those who were facing hardship while going for studies in different institutions. The programme was organized by TS Billawaria, Principal HSS Mahore in collaboration with ARTO Reasi, Rajesh Gupta. Beside this, a road safety awareness programme was also conducted in the School for the students to follow traffic rules to minimize road accidents specifically two wheeler. Whereas, ARTO also distributed Masks and Sanitizers among the students & spoke on ongoing pandemic & safeguard to protect themselves from the Covid pandemic by wearing masks and sanitizing their hands. Moreover, an awareness programme was also conducted for Drivers and Conductors at Dak Bungalow Mahore. During this awareness programme, ARTO Reasi, Rajesh Gupta advised the drivers to give concession in the fare for students and also direct them not to overcharge the general public and also refrain from overloading in their Vehicles. All these activities were conducted under the supervision of ARTO Reasi, Rajesh Gupta along with the Motor Vehicle Inspector CS Balloria and his team. |
