| Guru Ravi Dass Sabha felicitates Corporator Sham Lal Basson | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 14: In a simple and impressive function Sham Lal Basson Corporator ward no 48 was felicitated by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Bahu Fort, Jammu and prominent biradari members for his outstanding services to the people of Bahu Fort, Jammu. While speaking on this occasion Prof Chaman Lal Shivgotra said that Sham Basson is capable Corporator and social activist who rendered social service for more than three decades. Basson left no stone unturned for the upliftment of downtrodden and people of ward no 48. Prof Shivgotra said it is with the active and sincere efforts of Sham Basson that nallah work is going to be completed in 1 ½ months.
He also helped old age persons, widows and physically disabled persons by sanctioning pensions in their favours under different schemes not only from ward no 48 but also from ward 47. Sham Basson assured the people of Bahu fort to provide health care facilities and parking problem will also be solved by provision of multistory parking.
Sham Basson also assured the people of Bahu Fort to provide clean water on daily basis. It is very astonishing that people of Bahu Fort could get drinking water on daily basis. They are thirsty even after lapse of 75 years of independence.
Sham Lal also assured to provide door to door service of garbage collection and appealed to people of Bahu Fort not to use plastic. Those who felicitated Sham Lal Basson included Dr. Vijay Shivgotra, Prof Chaman Shivgotra, Sham Kalsi, Vikas Kalsi, Mangat Kalsi, Rattan Lal Bangotra. |
