DC Kathua reviews implementation of employment, beneficiary oriented schemes

KATHUA, Nov 16: The implementation of flagship government schemes was today reviewed by Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Yadav here at meeting held in Conference Hall of DC office Complex.
During the meeting, thrust was laid on effective implementation of employment and other beneficiary oriented schemes and promotion of Apki Zamin Apki Nigrani, Yogyata Se Rojgar Mahotsav, Janta Ki Scheme-Janta ki Bhagidari, One Person One Golden Card, Har Ghar Nal Se Jal, Berojgar Se Swa-Rojgar, Har Kam Ki Shuruat, Har Gaon Swacch Gaon, Har Gaon Hariyali, Har Ghar Dastak etc.
At the outset, the DC gave an overview of the schemes and called for giving a renewed push to the implementation of these schemes to touch the lives of ordinary citizens at grassroots level.
The DC laid emphasis on carrying out intensive IEC campaign to sensitize and create awareness among the masses about the ten point campaign of the government at all levels. Stressing on the effective implementation of the schemes, the DC enjoined upon the officers of Revenue, Rural Development, JJM and other concerned departments to work in tandem so as to achieve 100% saturation of all schemes in the district.
Regarding Yogyata Se Rojgar Mahotsav initiative, the DC directed the concerned to felicitate newly appointed class IV persons at Panchayat level. On Janta Ki Scheme-Janta ki Bhagidari: Improve access to BEAMS-EMPOWERMENT, he stressed on effective dissemination of information at the grassroots level to inform and solicit people's participation in development process and Corruption free and Clean Governance.
Referring to the Har Kam Ki Shuruat initiative of the government, the DC impressed upon the concerned to ensure 100% tender allotment within a month with respect to identified works in District Plan.
While discussing the door to door solid waste collection under Har Gaon Swacch Gaon, the DC directed EOs of all municipal bodies to expedite the process of ramping up the infrastructure so as to ensure 100% door to door collection. Besides, directions were passed to the officers of Health department to cover all unvaccinated cases, sensitization regarding importance of CAB, and masks.
