Plus 2 Officers Association delegation calls on Pr Secy SED

JAMMU, Nov 16: A delegation of All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association called on Principal Secretary, School Education Department (SED) here today at Civil Secretariat.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Principal Secretary, SED, BK Singh and also discussed in detail on every point.
The members of the delegation sought formal orders awaiting for redressal of all demands, even some favorable instructions got issued on spot.
The delegation demanded MACP to Plus 2 Lecturers cadre @ 6600, 7600 and 8700 be sanctioned and released as per the other counter parts in all other departments.
Other demands raised by the delegation included need of 1456 more Lecturers to be placed as Sr Lecturers as per SRO 481, proper and suitable adjustments of all Lecturers unadjusted/ Rendered Surplus in ATD 21, tenure of the postings for next ATD 2022 be finalized before the start of the filling up of online forms, all posts of ZEOS be filled up out of Sr Lecturers as Zonal Education Officers, issuing of orders for release of arrears in favor of all recently Regularised Principals through Director Finance SED as the Treasury Officers are not releasing the arrears of their salaries, sanction and release of Charge allowance in favor of all promoted incharge Lecturers till their Regularisation as besides highlighting other issues.
The Administrative Secretary assured the delegation to redress all the demands of the cadre and supported the efforts of the Association which is working selflessly for the cadre.
The delegation was led by president Dr Prithvi Paul Raina along with all Executive Council members including Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Ram Pal Sharma, Dharam Paul, Inderjeet Singh, Sangeet Jamwal, Dr Jyoti Sharma, Laxmi Jamwal, Neetu Bashin, Bharat Bhushan, Varinder Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Dr Rajneesh K Sharma.
