JAMMU, Nov 21: J&K Body Building and Fitness Championship conducted by Body Builders Association of J&K (BBAJK) in collaboration with J&K Sports Council culminated at Teachers' Bhawan Auditorium, Gandhi Nagar Jammu. About 125 bodybuilders participated in different categories. The championship was inaugurated by chief guest, Dr Aushotosh Sharma, Arun Sharma and Dushyant Sharma president and Secretary Olympic Association along with Bhupinder Singh Treasurer JKCA and General Secretary of BBAJK, Rajesh Dutta .
Rajesh Dutta, General Secretary appreciated the role of BBAJK for providing the platform to young and upcomning bodybuilders to perform the different level of competition within and outside state.
Ausutosh Sharma in his address also spoke out the performance of the BBAJK for winning many medals at national and international levels.
In 50-55 kg category, 1st Rajat Kundal, 2nd Koushal Sethi, 3rd Jugal Kumar, 4th Ashish and 5th Sunil.
In 55-60 kg category, 1st Gorav Dogra, 2nd Sahil, 3rd Kumar Gorav, 4th Stanzin and 5th Naresh.
In 60-65 kg category, 1st Vimaljit, 2nd Rishab Sethi, 3rd Waqar Iqbal, 4th Nikhil and 5th Ashish.
In 65-70 kg category, 1st Rohit, 2nd Abhishek, 3rd Abhinandan, 4th Vishal and 5th Shine Ghai.
In 70-75 kg category, 1st Saksham, 2nd Aman, 3rd Akash, 4th Angrez and 5th Palav.
In 75-80 kg category,1st Krishan Lal, 2nd Jaivinder, 3rd Wasim, 4th Anubhav and 5th Ajay.
In 80-85 kg category,1st Imran, 2nd Sanjeev, 3rd Davinder and 4th Ranjeet.
In master category,1st Abhinandan, 2nd Naveen and 3rd Gurpreet.
Physique Champion (Below 6 feet), 1st Saksham, 2nd Bharat, 3rd Imran, 4th Kumar Gorav and 5th Vishal while in (Above 6 feet), 1st Sorav, 2nd Ramji, 3rd Varun Raina and 4th Moti Ram. |
