GDC Udhampur conducts online Slogan writing competition on Save Environment

UDHAMPUR, Nov 22: Department of Environment Science Government Degree College Udhampur today organised an Online Slogan writing competition on the theme 'Save Environment' here under the supervision of College Principal Prof. Minu Mahajan.
The Slogan writing competition was organized to create awareness among the students regarding the various aspects of environment conservation.
As many as forty nine students of the college participated in the competition.
In the contest, the students expressed their ideas and thoughts related to 'Save Environment' in the form of slogans in a very creative way.
The best five slogans were written by Niharika Sharma, Semester III (Ist position); Saher Shakeel, Semester III (2nd position); Vanshika Sharma, Semester -I (3rd position); Parul Semester -I( 4th position ); Swati Gandotra, Semester-I( 5th position ).
The event was judged by Associate Professor Dr. Seema Sharma ( HOD Department of Music), Assistant Professor Pooja Bharti ( HOD Department of Geography) and Assistant Professor Rekha Devi. The event was coordinated by Assistant Professor Sarika Mahajan, Assistant Professor, Yash Kumar, Sikander Gul and Sona.
