| GDC Kathua organizes declamation contest | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 22: NSS Units GDC Kathua in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Kathua, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India organized declamation contest at block level in Govt Degree College, Kathua. Prof Jaswinder Singh Head of Physics Department was the chief guest on this occasion. The theme of declamation contest was 'Patriotism and National Building'. More than ten participants from Kathua block took part in the event. Tannia Sharma, Amisha Devi and Naman Dogra secured first, second and third positions respectively. The declamation contest was judged by Prof Manmohan Singh, Head of Department of History, Dr Kamaldeep Singh Head of Punjabi Department and Prof Isha Verma from Department of Hindi. Further these three winner participants will compete at district level in coming days .The event was organized under the patronage of Incharge Principal Prof Raj Kiran and supervision of NSS Programme Officers Prof Ritu Kumar Sharma and Prof Neha Bandral. |
