Jammu, Nov 25: Samooh Theatre , Jammu organised a cultural event -3 here at Sujandhar , District Reasi here today in the premises of Primary School ,Sujandhar.
On this occasion Thakur Ashok Singh BDC Chairman District Reasi was the Chief guest while Balwan Singh,Sh.Govind Singh and Master Kirpa Ram were the guest of honors and Ex Sarpanch Sh.Tej Singh was the special guest. Smt.Kanyan Devi Sarpanch presided over the function.
Thakur Ashok Singh in his address congratulated to the team of Samooh Theatre and also appreciated the local but national acclaim teams. He said there is abundant talent in the area and needs to be explored and the artists also need a platform where they can exhibit their talent, especially the art forms which are in dying stage . He further appreciated to the working of Samooh Theatre who selected the venue here at a far -flung area to promote and disseminate our age old Dogri folk and tradition. The prominent parties who participated were Mukhtya Singh and party (KUD Dance )Bharat Singh and party ( Geetru Dance ) Romal Singh and Party ( Bhakh ) Asha Devi iand Party ( Female Geetru) 8God hari Devi and Party ( Female Bhakh ).
