JAMMU, Nov 25: Promising to pursue policies of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) mentor Arvind Kejriwal Rajesh Gupta, Vice-President AAP Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency today while addressing party workers today urged Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to provide quality medical and health facilities to people of J&K on pattern of Delhi by bringing 'quality healthcare for all' scheme, its free healthcare facilities including tests and surgeries.
In a statement, Gupta said that Kejriwal government in Delhi is making unprecedented strides in enhancing people's access to quality healthcare. The government has launched several schemes to provide free medicines, tests and several lifesaving surgeries through a three tiered network of mohalla clinics, polyclinics and hospitals.
Gupta appealed to LG to introduce such quality healthcare facilities on top priority as the condition of hospitals is very pathetic in J&K. He said that it is very important and there should be mohalla clinics on pattern of Delhi. |
