Early Times Report

JAMMU, Nov 28: A programme was organized in the Nathal village of Chhamb assembly constituency under the Jan Jagran Abhiyan launched by the Congress across the country. Congress leader Bharat Priye addressed the public meeting and listened to the problems of the people.
The locals told Priye that the condition of the road in this area is very bad. The road was not repaired and the doctors do not come to the dispensary in this area, due to which they have to go to Akhnoor or Jammu hospital. He said that this area is completely untouched by development. Priye said that the Jan Jagran Abhiyan has been started so that people can come to know about the failure of the government. He said the purpose of this public meeting is not to ask for votes, but to go among the people and listen to their problems. He said that at this time inflation, unemployment and corruption are big problems in the country. If people become aware and question the leaders, then the government will have to take steps, he said. Priye assured that he would do everything possible to get all their demands resolved.
