Opposition never bothered to develop religious places in J&K: Sat

Jammu, Nov 29: Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator Ward 40 Neelam Nargotra started construction works of new parking at Guru Ravi Dass Sabha in Kabir Colony area of Talab Tillo. Sharma was also accompanied by Mandal President Keshav Chopra, UT Media Secretary BJP Dr Pardeep Mahotra and several others including local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be done at an estimated cost of Rupees 30 lakhs and the funds were allotted to the local Corporator for taking up the works. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that this place holds a great significance in our society and it is our prime duty to develop such places which holds a great religious importance. He said Guru Ravi Dass sacrificed his whole life by serving the society and we all must follow his teachings which allow us to create an atmosphere of brotherhood and harmony. He also stated that only BJP is working hard to develop places holding religious importance in the UT whereas opposition parties who talk about welfare of Jammu and Kashmir never bothered to develop such places. Yash Pal Shivgotra, Satyabhushan Dubey, Rajesh Saini, Jaipal Sharma, Paramjit Kour, Rahul Nargotra, Abhishek Sharma, Puran Chand and several others were also present.
