COVID-19 relief material handed over to Chairman Health & Sanitation JMC

Jammu, Nov 29: We The Humans, a public charitable trust, handed over 300 sanitisers, 600 facemasks and 600 satchels of ORS to Narender Singh Jamwal Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee, Jammu Municipal corporation at his private office in Sainik Colony Jammu.
Retd. Principal District and Session Judge K Y S Manhas Chairman, Pavitra Kour Office Secretary We The Humans and few prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, K Y S Manhas informed that We The Humans have been doing its best to provide COVID Hygiene kits and dry ration to the needy people and frontline workers like police personnel, sanitation works through active coordination with the government authorities.
COVID-19 relief has being distributed since January 2020 with support and assistance from its members and donors like Swasthya evam Shiksha Public Charitable Trust, NIMBARK, Tarun Vaid, Vipan Bhasin, Rajesh Gupta, Sahib Aggarwal, Gagan Jain, Sukhdev Singh, octogenarian S. Prem Singh, O P Verma and others. Today's COVID-19 material is meant for use by sanitation workers of the JMC.
Narinder Singh Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee JMC expressed his thanks to functionaries of We The Humans for today's relief material and exhorted people to adopt COVID Appropriate Behaviour in view of startling news coming over spread of more communicable new variant of the CORONA virus. Only proper social distancing, keeping Hygiene by regular washing of hands, use of sanitisers and proper testing & quarantine of travellers can save us from the new variant of CORONA.
