Early Times Report

JAMMU, Nov 29: Taking serious note of missing revenue records in Bhau tehsil after which administration, BJP leader Rajeev Charak said merely FIR on missing record is not enough; administration should also book then Revenue Minister, then Commissioner Secretary and other officials, who are responsible for negligence.
Charak said that with a well planned conspiracy those records were destroyed by the Patwaris who had come to Jammu from other districts with blessing of people sitting at helms. “On the behest of Revenue Minister and Commissioner of Sectors, the sale of government land was set up by the Patwaris who came from other districts. Patwaris used to get huge amount to ensure that Fard owned land was cut and possession was given on Government land,” he said.
He said that Jammu DC had taken out an order under which JCB cannot be installed on any private land without permission, but land grabbers erasing mountains- after mountains to make the salable plots. He added that they not even spare drains, ravines, ponds and other reservoirs, which are being filled but Patwari and other officers of Revenue Department are sitting blindly even while watching.
Charak said that since 1990, the exodus of Hindu society by terrorists on one side and on the other hand the Patwaris of district level posts was transferred under a conspiracy in Hindu dominated area. He said that strict action should be taken against the Commissioner Secretaries of the Revenue Department who made such transfers and the pension and property of such retired Commissioner Secretaries should be confiscated, who transferred the district level Patwaris by misusing their power.
Charak said that the Revenue Department, Forest Department or Jammu Development Authority under whose tenure this encroachment took place or the record is missing, there is a need to get the strictest action and FIR against them, their salary or pension and property should be confiscated.
