SABLO demands construction of Yatri Niwas at multiple places

JAMMU, Nov 29: Shri Amarnath Barfani Langars Organization (SABLO) has urged the LG administration to provide 12 Kanals of land at Baltal, Srinagar and Pahalgam so as to construct the Yatri Niwas for the people who intend to go for the holy pilgrimage of Amarnath Yatra.
The SABLO said that space for Yatri Niwas having capacity of 1000 pilgrims initially should be provided. It said that space for Bhandara Hall having capacity to accommodate of 1000 pilgrims should also be there adding that space for prayer hall having capacity of 300 pilgrims should also be put in place at the designated places.
SABLO demanded that parking space for buses, cars and other vehicles bringing pilgrims should be earmarked. It said that as such the Dharamshala (Yatri Niwas) once completed would accommodate 1000 pilgrims in the first phase at each site which can be expanded according to needs of future.
The organization said that the project will be of great support to administration also for successful and smooth organization of annual Yatra which undoubtedly is a great source of revenue/livelihood of the local community at valley including Bakarwal-Gujjars.
