EARly Times Report

JAMMU, Nov 30: Good products and services, better technology and focused attention on customers are the key elements of success mantra for all commercial organisations. And I am happy to see our energetic and experienced staff from Jammu Division zones here, whose dedication along with diligence has helped them to find their place among top performers in the Bank’s life-insurance segment.
J&K Bank CMD R K Chhibber made these remarks in ‘Leader’s Talk’ at an event that was organised to recognise the Bank’s Champion Performers of Jammu Division Zones under life-insurance segment here at Jammu in presence of MD Pnb MetLife Ashish Srivastava. The Bank’s Executive President Sunil Gupta, President (Insurance) Narjay Gupta, Zonal Heads, Heads of Business Units from Jammu region and other officers were also present on the occasion.
While expressing satisfaction on the achievement of 30% growth in the Bank’s insurance income CMD R K Chhibber directed the Bank staff posted at operational levels to make strenuous efforts so that the benefits of insurance reach all sections of society including the marginalized ones. “In order to increase our bottom-line we must redouble our efforts to increase income streams other than the interest. And life-insurance is one of the most under-explored areas especially in the current Covid-times.”, said the CMD.
“We must ensure immediate settlement of claims of deceased persons while keeping focus on existing customers besides educating the concerned staff in this regard across our operational geographies”, he added.
Speaking on the occasion MD Pnb MetLife Ashish Srivastava expressed his gratitude to the CMD J&K Bank and assured him of strengthening the two-decade long partnership. “We have one of the best claim settlement ratio in the industry besides innovative and affordable products available in the market. And Today I assure all of you that we shall further improve our services to match the credibility that J&K Bank brings to this partnership”, he said.
