Ramban admin organises Youth Cultural Festival ; Local artists enthral audience

RAMBAN, Dec 1: District Administration, Ramban today organised Youth Cultural Festival -2021 here at Maitra Park.
The event was held under the aegis of Youth Engagement Programme aimed at to provide a platform to budding as well as renowned Singers, Dancers and Poets at the district level and was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Information and Public Relations, Election, Education and District Mineral Office under the guidance of ADC, Harbans Lal.
President Municipal Council , Ramban, Sunita Sumbria was the Chief Guest, while Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, DDC Councillor, Ramban, Renuka Katoch; ADDC, Rajinder Sharma were the guests of honur.
Additional SP, Rajni Sharma, GM, DIC, Vishwajeet, Dy DEO, Lal Chand (Nodal Officer Programme), CEO, VK Koul, DMO, Kulwant Singh, DYSSO, Dharmveer Singh, and various senior officers, public representatives and youth of different areas attended the function.
Artists including locally renowned Manhas sisters (Ritisha & Ritansha), Neha Rakwal, Abdul Latif Bulbul, Menisha Mehra, Mudassar Mir and Zai ul Haq enthralled the audience by singing Hindi, Kashmiri, Punjabi, Pogli, Himachaly, Gojri, Kha and Dogri numbers. Flute Artist Gardari Lal compelled the spectators to dance on his flute tune.
On the occasion, the Department of Handicrafts & Handloom, KVIB, Labour, Employment and District Industries Centre Ramban, J&K SC,ST & OBC Corp.Ltd and several other departments established their stalls to promote their schemes and products.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest appreciated the District Administration for providing a vibrant platform to the young artists to showcase their talent and demonstrate the Cultural heritage of the region.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the people the Youth Cultural Festival would be organized on a regular basis.
