NSS GGM Science College organizes Clean India Awareness

Jammu, Dec 1: NSS GGM Science College under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan organized an awareness program under the Clean India Campaign Say No To Single Use Plastic.
NSS Volunteers made posters on theme Swachh Bharat, ensuring hygiene across the country. The Clean India mission aims to encourage hygienic sanitation practices. It is a nation-wide campaign aiming to clean up the streets, roads, cities and rural areas. NSS PO emphasized that Increasing awareness for cleanliness – at societal level and at individual level – is must. It requires time and patience. On top of everything, the epiphany that an effectively clean environment is one of the basic needs to live a healthy life.
The NSS Volunteers Isha bhat, Riya Raina, Nancy Sharma, Sakshi Sharma, Reetik Kapahi ,Palvinder Kour , Sunandini sharma , Pallvi Chaudhary , Aman Mandi, Abilasha Gupta, Danish Sharma, Samiksha Sharma, Shakoor Ali , Kudrat Manhas , Deepika Sharma, Mohit Kumar Hans, Abhishek Dabgotra participated in poster competition. The event was judged by Prof. Surbhi Dubey (Bio-tech Dept.). Deepika, Samiksha and Sunandini were judged first. Riya Sharma, Ritya, Palvinder kour, Riya raina came second. Nancy Sharma, Mohit kumar, Isha Bhat, Saksham were judged third.
