Srinagar, Dec 1: Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday celebrate 57th raising day organising cultural programes with zest and zeal at frontier headquarters in Kashmir valley.
Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the force said, on the occasion of BSF Raising Day a cultural Programme and Barakhana was organized for veterans and all posted BSF personnel of Frontier Headquarters Kashmir as well as troops of Subsidiary Training Center (STC). BSF Raising Day was celebrated with great zest and zeal at Frontier Headquarters BSF Kashmir, he said.
For last one week hordes of programs were organised at different locations of BSF Deployment in Kashmir valley including public outreach programs with border population.
Presently, the BSF, the largest Border guarding Force of the world is maintaining vigil at International Borders of the Indo-Pak Border, Indo-Bangladesh Border and also deployed on internal security of the country with full devotion.

BSF, an elite Force of the country was raised on December 1,1965 with primary responsibility to safeguard the International Borders , is completing 56 years of its dedicated, distinguished and glorious service to the nation.
