| GDC Ukhral organizes Seminar on Cyber Crime | | |

JAMMU, Dec 1: GDC Ukhral organizes Cyber Jagrookta Awareness Diwas on Wednesday, the programme commenced at 12:00 P.M with the special address from the Patron of the college.
He highlighted postmodern crimes and the need of awareness about them. The theme of the seminar was Cyber Crime and Cyber Security. The resource person Srishti Saini at length talked about cyber-crime and cyber security issues. She gave a detailed account of how to save ourselves from these crimes and even victims. The seminar was attended by huge number of students and masses. The said speaker stressed on the need to introduce syllabus regarding the topic in discussion. She felt that only awareness can stop this ever increasing aspect of life. Some faculty members namely Dr. Mohd Shafiq Katoch, Prof. Zakir Hussain, Dr. Akhter Rasool, Dr. Altaf Rasool also presented their papers in the seminar. It was first of the series of events to be organized by the host institution. The vote of thanks was presented by the Nodal officer Prof. Iftikhar Hussain of department of English. The programme was moderated by Dr. Akhter Rasool of department of Environmental science. |
