VC JU releases book ‘Bhavna’ penned by Bhavna Mahajan

JAMMU, Dec 5: A book release function was organized at Amar Singh Club Jammu. The function was arranged by Sanjeev Mahajan, husband of author of the book “Bhavna” Bhavna Mahajan. On the occasion, Vice Chancellor University of Jammu (JU) Manoj Dhar was the chief guest and the guests of honour were Chairman Team Jammu Zorawar Singh Jamwal and Dr Nirmal Vinod. Women empowerment can be defined to promoting women’s sense of self worth their ability to determine their own choices and their right to influence social change for themselves and others. Bhavna Mahajan is an example from being star student at college than house wife entrepreneur and now author of a book ‘Bhavna’. Bhavna is an expression of her life. Speaking on the occasion chief guest VC Manoj Dhar appreciated the book ‘Bhavna’. He encouraged the women empowerment and applauded Bhavna Mahajan’s efforts. Zorawar Singh Jamwal also expressed his views about the role of women in today’s society. Dr Nirmal Vinod also spoke on the occasion. R.J Sarang also expressed his views.
The event was smoothly conducted by Prof Sunita Pandita. The vote of thanks was presented by Titiksha Mahajan and Syona Mahajan. In the gathering writers, social activists and family members of author were also present.
