| International Volunteers Day celebrated | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 5: International Volunteer Day was celebrated by Magic Bus India Foundation in Govt Middle School, Narwal Bala. The chief guest on the occasion was Tarun Uppal, Chairperson, Nirbhay Bharat Foundation and special guest was Sharda Kumari, Councillor Bahu Fort. In his address on the occasion, Tarun uppal said that the celebration of 'International Volunteer Day' provides an opportunity for volunteers and organizations to further enhance their efforts, share their values, and promote their work among their communities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs ), UN agencies, government authorities and the private sector. The main highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony to honour the community youth leaders namely Amit Kumar, Tarun Kumar and Baldev Raj. The teachers of the school namely Sangeeta Gandotra, Arti Gupta and Shagufta Bashir were also felicitated for their outstanding services. The Foundation also acknowledged the relentless efforts of the Incharge Head master Dr Kamaljeet Kour and showered accolades on her as a token of appreciation. |
