JKUTEUF to hold distt level protests in favour of its demands

JAMMU, Dec 5: The Jammu and Kashmir UT Employees United Front (JKUTEUF), an amalgam of various Employees’ Unions of Jammu and Kashmir, said that government is not serious to resolve the issues of lakhs of employees of UT J&K as a result of which Front will now organize district level protests in favour of these demands.
Addressing a press conference here today, Chairman of the JKUTEUF, Bhupinder Singh said that decision to hold district level protest has been taken to give fillip to their demands for which the Front had already given one month’s ultimatum to the government earlier for conceding of demands of employees including regularization of NYCs, REKs, REZs, MGNREGA employees, Home Guards, daily wagers, NHM employees, SFC employees, casual labourers, SPOs, Anganwadi Workers and other temporary employees, restoration of Old Pension Scheme in favour of teaching fraternity and other employees of UT J&K appointed after 01.01.2010 and implementation of Pay Grade in favour of all employees of UT J&K at par with other UTs.
President of the Front Asif Ali Bhat said that the Jammu and Kashmir UT United Employees Front is representing different segments of employees and will hold a mega rally soon in favour of genuine demands of employees of J&K.
General Secretary of the Front Davinder Singh said that the government is playing with the sentiment of NYCs, REKs, REZs and other temporary employees as a result the families of these employees are suffering badly.
Vice President of the Front Kamla Sharma said that the demands of equal pay for equal work, implementation of pay grade is the serious issue of the employees which the government need to resolve at an earliest.
Those who were present in the press conference included Akhtar Abbas Naik, Joginder Dingra, Madhan Lal, Rashpaul Singh, Shoket Ali, Surinder Singh, Tirth Singh, Sayed Baqir Jafrey, Sadaket Malik, Kuldeep Chand, Farooq Daing, Sunil Rajput, Nasir Rashid and others.
