JAMMU, Dec 5: BJP leader and Co-Convener Sanskritik Cell BJP JKUT, Sumit Sharma organized a registration programme of unorganized sector workers on e-Shram portal.
Speaking on the occasion, Sumit Sharma first thanked PM Narendra Modi because e-Shram is the reflection of the commitment of Prime Minister who believes in Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas aur Sabka Vishwas.
Sumit sharma said any worker who is working in unorganized sector and aged between 18 and 59 is eligible to register on the e-Shram portal. Migrant workers, gig workers, Platform workers, Fisher men, Milkmen, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, Street pullers and other workers engaged in similar other occupations in the unorganized sectors are all eligible. Sumit Sharma said that in future all social benefits to the unrecognized workers would be delivered through this portal even in emergency times like COVID 19 pandemic. |
