Sarpanch Panchayat Kotli Shah Doula organizes workers meeting
12/5/2021 11:00:08 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Dec 5: In a bid to revamp his strategy after resigning from primary membership of BJP party ahead of forthcoming Assembly elections, Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Kotli Shah Doula Badrinath Sharma, on Sunday organized workers meeting from different areas of RS Pura constituency.
Sarpanch Badrinath asked workers and his supporters to get prepared to fight for complete statehood of Jammu and Kashmir, as revocation of statehood has brought immense hardships to people of Jammu & Kashmir. “From jobs to land, citizens of J&K have been deprived of many opportunities. We don’t want the kind of polity present in Delhi or Pondicherry but we seek complete statehood with full political rights for citizens,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma criticized the BJP Government at the Centre and the LG Administration of ignoring the rights and aspirations of the people of the UT, especially the people of Jammu region.
He urged upon the LG and the Home Minister to clear the ambiguity about the same. The youth of the state have no avenues for jobs and both PSC and SSB have failed as recruitment agencies.
Sharma maintained that despite rapid transformation in its texture, RS Pura constituency has remained choked with various civic problems for the past over seven years.
“No recruitment drives have been conducted for the youth of RS Pura constituency in the para-military forces, which is compelling the youth to join hands with their old age family business ‘agriculture’ leading to anguish among the youth”, said Sharma.
BJP leaders befooled me and my constituency people, so I quit BJP”, Sharma said, adding that “I have to work for the people and not just to make the leaders happy.”
