JAMMU, Dec 5: Agriculture sub-division Marh celebrated “World Soil Health Day” on the theme “Swasth Dhara- Khet Harra” at Ganeshu Chak, Panchyat Surechak block n Zone Mandal. The programme conducted by AEO Mandal under professional guidance of Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer Marh, Dr Ashwani Jojra, inaugurated and presided over by Madan Lal, BDC Chairman, Block Mandal, PRI members and progressive farmers of Panchayat Sure Chak. Dr. Jojra sensitized all on unwanted and excess fertilizer application leading to drastic reduction in soil productivity, water pollution, serious health hazards to humans and animals also. On the occasion 30 soil health cards were distributed amongst the farmers. |
