JTC stages protest, lists demands

Jammu, Jan 14: Jagti Tenement Committee has been protesting for 469 consecutive days as the Kashmiri Pandits have been living in exile for the last 32 years.
Addressing the protesters Shadi Lal Pandita President Jagti (JTC), said that the Kashmiri Pandits have repeatedly made and continues to make sacrifices for the country but it is unfortunately that the same community is betrayed by the government.
Pandita said we salute Rohit chib who was working in the police force and was martyred on 12-1-2022 in the Kashmir valley while fighting with militants.We stand by with his family in this hour of despair. Earlier also 4 young Kashmiri Pandit youth of Jagti township laid their precious lives for the nation.
Pandita said that the some people in our community are now mentally disturbed in living in exile and commit suicide due to poverty but the government has failed to increase the monthly cash relief from Rs 13,000,to Rs 25,000 for per family per month so that the relief holders can survive and the government should meet our all the demands as soon as possible.
