Covid care: AYUSH Kishtwar braces up for resuming outreach services amid 3rd wave

KISHTWAR, Jan 17: AYUSH Department Kishtwar has braced up for resuming outreach services to help the common masses amid the Covid third wave.
Under the guidance of the Director AYUSH Jammu and Kashmir Dr Mohan Singh and on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma and further under the close supervision of Dr Taraq Hussain District Nodal officer AYUSH Kishtwar, Medical Officers and incharge staff relentlessly continue their outreach efforts even in the harsh weather conditions.
In this connection, awareness/ vaccination / outreach camps and immunity booster distribution camps besides other essential services have been re-launched across the district.
All the AYUSH stations / Dispensaries and health and wellness centers are delivering health care services in the district, said the District Nodal officer AYUSH.
He informed that the belt forces, govt. Sectors/ and common masses at large are being attended regularly without any fail.
It is important to mention that in view of the latest surge in the covid third wave, the AYUSH Kishtwar has already launched the campaign to make people aware about following Covid appropriate behaviour and distribute immunity booster kits among the beneficiaries across Kishtwar district.
In his message, District Nodal officer AYUSH Kishtwar Dr Taraq appealed to the general public to avail the services of the AYUSH and adopt Covid appropriate behaviour. He also urged the public to take vaccine doses and extend helping hand in eradicating the covid from the society forever.
