| Police arrests 2 drug peddlers | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Jan 17: Kishtwar Police has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered banned psychotropic substance from their possession.
A special team constituted by the SSP Kishtwar which was led by Insp Abid Bukhari, SHO PS Kishtwar under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Kishtwar, Satish Kumar raided some suspected locations and recovered 280 tablets of banned psychotropic substance from the possession of two accused identified as Mohd Imran (Soni) S/o Ghulam Mohd R/o Horna Mughal Maidan A/P Wasserkund Kishtwar and Kousar Nazir Butt S/o Nazir Ahmed Butt R/o Ward No 5 near Usmaniya Masjid Kishtwar. Both the accused persons have been arrested and booked in case FIR No. 04/2022 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act of PS Kishtwar. The team raided the suspected places after obtaining the leads from one of the accused arrested in a previous NDPS case of Police Station Kishtwar.
It is pertinent to mention here that Kishtwar Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware about the drug menace and at the same time acting hard on the drug peddlers.
