1/17/2022 11:00:30 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 17: Apni Party Youth Wing Provincial President Jammu Vipul Bali led deputation today called on CAPD Director at his office to project pending demands of the people.
Leading the deputation, Bali said that they submitted a memorandum of demands to the CAPD Director with regard to ration supply.
The Youth Wing leaders demanded that the people should get 6 kg flour, 2 kg rice minimum as ration.
"It is alleged that 4 kg flour and 1 kg rice are not sufficient for one month to make their livelihood and both ends meet," he said while informing the CAPD Director.
He said that "Apni Party feels that from the last three years, there has been a big financial crisis due to the outbreak of covid 19 pandemic which has badly hit the lives of common man in general and poor in particular."
"Keeping in view the present pandemic situation emerged again due to sudden spike in Covid cases and weekend lockdown, we have requested the Director CAPD to increase the ration quota to 6 kg and 2 kg in ration to mitigate the sufferings of poor people," he said.
After hearing the deputation, the Director assured them that they will look into the demands projected by the Apni Party Youth Wing.
The deputation was composed of Provincial Secretary Youth Wing, Vishal Jotshi, District President Youth Wing, Shivam Choudhary and District Joint Secretary Youth Wing, Ankush Dogra.
