| Doda Sports Stadium in shambles, awaits repairs | | |

Doda, Jan 17: Sports Stadium at Doda is in shambles. Administration has failed to repair it despite people raising the issue with the concerned authorities on many occasions.
A resident said, “The authorities had announced that all the facilities will be made available at the Doda Sports Stadium but the announcement didn’t see the light of the day.”
He said, “The choked and filthy drains lead to the water getting accumulated in the ground and it takes days for normalcy to return.”
Another resident said, “The Republic Day is coming near and the biggest function in the district will be held in the stadium. But see the condition, how can the stadium host the function in absence of facilities.”
“The pathetic plight of the Doda Sports Stadium is a blot on the so-called development of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added. |
