| ‘Govt snatching land from poor to get share from builders’ | | |

Jammu, Jan 17: President of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former J&K chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti, on Monday alleged that present regime is snatching land from poor and giving it to big builders to get its share from them.
Talking to reporters after addressing a rally here, Mehbooba said, “The incumbent regime in J&K is faceless and is working against the interests of the people. After snatching land from the poor people it wants to get big builders here and construct buildings so that it can get its share. I urge Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene and return the land of the poor families that was snatched during the recent demolition drive.” |
