DODA, Jan 21: Arrangements for celebration of Republic Day 2022 were on Friday finalized at a meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Dr. R.K Bharti.
The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sports Stadium and in case of rain/ snow the celebrations would be held at District Police Lines. The function would start with the Shehnaiwadan programme at 7.30 AM by the District Information Centre Doda at the venue.
It was also given out that contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC Senior and Junior Division and Government and Private schools shall participate in the Parade.
The ADC directed the departments including school education department to submit the list of participants to the police department by tomorrow for their advance verification.
Regarding illumination, the ADC directed all heads of the offices in Doda to illuminate and give a festive look to their office buildings. Besides, EO MC Doda and Executive Engineer PDD were directed to illuminate major public offices and public properties as per the past practice. He further directed the Sports council to ensure in advance facelift of the venue.
The arrangements for Drinking water facility, power supply, Parking facility, first aid arrangements, Sanitation, Security, Public Address System, Fire tenders, preparation of tableaus, seating arrangements besides arrangements of Mementos and refreshments were also finalised. |
