SRINAGAR, May 17: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday arrested three persons, including a juvenile, for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor girl in Soura area of Srinagar. The three accused, including a juvenile, had "kidnapped" the girl from Taqdeer Park Hazratbal and took her to Malbagh in Soura where she was allegedly sexually assaulted. "All the three accused, including one juvenile, apprehended for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor girl in Malbagh, Soura," police said. Case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) and Indian Penal Code (IPC) were registered with the Nigeen Police station. The Girl has been sent to hospital for medical treatment, sources said. |
