Rotary Club Jammu Midtown inaugurates various works in Govt school

JAMMU, May 26: Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown installed a water cooler, a water purifier, hand wash station and some benches for students in Govt Boys Middle School, Gorakh Nagar;
The school was adopted by Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown under the presidentship of Rtn Meenakshi Bhasin.
Speaking on the occasion, Rtn Meenakshi Bhasin said Hand washing station was installed to keep the students in good hygiene. For clean drinking water, water cooler and filter were also installed, she added.
"It gave an utter satisfaction to the club members and we hope to up forward this initiative in future too," she said. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr Dushyant Choudhary (DGE) Distt 3070.
While praising the initiatives of Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown, the chief guest said that Rotarians of Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown are committed to promote basic education, maternal and child health, water and sanitation, and peace in the J&K UT. He applauded the efforts of the Rotarians for organising such an event which symbolises the exuberance of life of students.
Principal of the School, Manjeet Kaur and other staff were also present on the occasion. She thanked Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown for providing water cooler for the welfare of students of the school.
Members of Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown present on the occasion were Rtn Meenakshi Bhasin (President), Rtn Chakshu Kapoor (Secretary), Rtn Meena Jamwal (Asst Governor), Rtn Rohit Gupta, Rtn Sudha Kalra, Rtn Afzal Choudhary, Rtn Ravi Sharma, Rtn Neelam Grover, Rtn Reecha Jain, Rtn Puneet Kapoor, Rtn Prakash Kaur, Rtn Rakhi Singhal and Rtn Sushil Singhal.
